looking for a ballpark weight. i need to remove mine for repairs. looks to be cast iron surrounding the core. i dont want to find out too late
that its way heavy. my minne mo. big mo 500 grille is around 800 pounds. not something to drop on your foot.

I have had mine off and on a few times. Plus this spring will taking it off again. I would say its 40-50 lbs. I can pick it off the front.

There are two different radiators in w9s. A light one and a heavy one. I would say the light one is probably 40-50 lbs. The heavy one is closer to 200-250 lbs.

My WD-9's have the cast iron tanks and sides. I am an averaged sized guy and I can lift it off and on the tractor by myself. Maybe more than 50lbs--I would say more like 70-80 but I am just guessing. It helps to have a bench or set of sawhorses nearby to set it on so you don't have to wrestle it to the ground.

I sure would like to see that 250 lb rad. Far as I know they all have cast tanks top and bottom. The core has no weight.

here are a couple pictures

jim i could use the backhoe or skidder ,i do have a gantry crane too. really nervous about damaging it during removal. i dont think replacement radiators are readily available for this old horse!
