Can any one tell me the hydraulic oil capacity of a Wagner loader on a 8N I just bought a 48 8N and thought I'd change all the fluids some look a little suspect.

That would likely depend on the particular model of Wagner loader.

I don't know all I can make out on the serial plate it's a Wagner.

I have a Wagner loader on my 1952 8N. I ad oil when the pump starts to cavitate for lack of fluid (seal leaks). I have no idea how much is required. I fill it until it is full.

I added new lines to mine and it too about 4 gallons.

If the reservoir is in the frame probably a bit less than 5 gallons. The fill is usually a small stand pipe on the frame itself. I would keep it filled below this a bit or you may find it squirting out the vent holes at the top during some operations. As long as your above the suction area at all times you'll be good to go

If it's a WF-3 (which is probably the most common, with a step-through frame and three cylinders) the capacity is 5 1/2 gallons.
