First off I assumed. You know what happens when you assume. She didn’t have the base in the picture. Ok I didn’t care if it was a bench or floor model. It was a bench model with no base. Told her I thought it would be too much work plus a couple of other minor problems. She wanted it gone so she said just take it. I had driven an hour to get there. I couldn’t take it without giving her something so we made a deal. I took a 2 wheel cart because not knowing the situation. I can’t pick it up by myself. She 30 something says let me have it, I’ve been working out, picks it up and carries it to the truck. I’m not going to argue with her. New belt, spring broke, had to make a new base. Not got to use it yet. 170 rpm slowest.

Just make sure the base is plenty stable it, sometimes you get pushing or pulling pretty hard. I made a floor model out of my bench model and used the original base. Found out it was not that stable so I had to weight it. 👨‍🌾

It looks like he has it lag bolted to the bench with 6 lag bolts, it should be ok! A floor model should be anchored to the floor.
