Well, kinda tired of winter, and wondered if it was time for this. Enclosed is one of my "930"s I had driven into the yard, cause the battery wasn't good, and I was nursing it through the end of the year. Post any style.

Dam;; those Eging cabs are ugly!! I might just have to build one for one of my 1/16 scale tractors. Maybe the 930 long nose that is not done yet.

Not the best pictures, but the only few pictures we have of Dads 900 case. Its not a 930, but it did have a 930 injection pump on it, and I think Dad messed with the pump settings. It pulled an 18' disk and 22' homemade graham hahme? chisel plow. Man would that thing bellar with a straight pip on it. Yes, that is me holding a stupid doll, my sister had the camera and wouldnt take a picture of the tractor unless I held her doll. PIctures are from around 1977? Rack on the front was for a 300 gallon barrell for spraying.

all in the eyes of the beholder I will always love Egging cabs we sold a pile of them,, for us to get the other brands you spoke of was adding three times the freight to them, in my area it made no sense to pay extra for the cab and then pay at least three times the freight Egging had a/c at least 5 years before most others, and were very well built cabs,, some of the first ones we sold we ordered from Denver CO, they were thin tinny piles once we found the Eggings that was it until Case offered their own cabs, these also allowed air to circulate far better than any others we tested on the 2whl units

I can see why you did Tom, kinda like us ordering Cozy's. I wish we would have got on the band wagon thou and ordered the factory cab. I really thought they were a very nice cab. I wonder how much more they were?

I can find out Dan, I do know price was not the issue why Dad did not order every 68/69 930/1030 he order with a factory cab although I seem to think we sold five 1030's with them maybe a couple more, he always liked the bigger cab Egging provided over the factory Allen/Stophler cab Case offered, most of the factory ones I see have cab door repairs and or damage or gone on them also, where the Eggings have solid hinges door frames today,, but I agree I really like the looks of the Case offered cab

Sure looks like a North Dakota pic, but probably not, like vintage pictures no matter how clear. thanks for showing them

You know had it Loren, I just like looking at your "930" really its the "stud" on the east coast! Have you ever dyno'd.

I sure like to see them used, tell me how big is the blower behind? I still haven't finished up my "930" with the cab, and I have a 96" blower for her to mount on.

I don't care what kind of cab a "930" has on it, they are still PRETTY!, Still love the old shed with the "930" in there, and when you had it hooked up to the big cultivator, and she snorted some, and got out and pulled it!

That "400" PT, must be a honey, I know Dad's farm partner had one Dad sold him, and that little machine would combine with our "1660", "1010" and one year a Versatile that had the V8 318, but the Versatile was not doing as much as the "400" and "830".

Steve I like your herd of "930"s

If your asking me Ande it's an 8' blower. It handles it pretty well. Six to 10" of light snow no problem. Anything deeper or drifted and I take narrower passes. I'd like to hang another 200 lbs of front weights on it though as it's a tad light.

Eli

Eli, that was my guess too. And your comments on weight tells me I better be looking for weight to put on, as I see you have a good set on yours now. Thanks for the info Eli and your post.

Oh yea Tom, showing those pics of the old long nose "930" taking on the "TK" equipment says the guts and torque these tractors had. I like that long hood shot. Hope you can get her a steady job this year, so we see more of her.

Now that's the REAL DEAL. A 930 "long nose" before the Comfort Kings. Ron

Jim are you anywhere near Rusty 6 who is just north of Lipton/Dysart? He has a nice Western 730.

Yes I've seen his pictures of the 730. I'm about an hour and a half or so southwest (roughly, I'm not sure of his exact location).
