wapsi iso conversion

any one use the Wapsi innovations grove conversion when converting their outlets from John Deere to iso breakaways? are they worth the extra money? looks like they stick out a little further, has anyone had issues with clearance with 3 point or any other attachment?

They looked pretty jalopy to me but that was just my impression. Looked like you could just bolt on some iso quick couplers like you can get at any farm store and just leave the old coupler bodies completely off

I thought it looked like a pretty good set up IMHO.

There's a fair bit of machining involved in the adaptor sleeves that get installed in the SCV housing. To add, the breakaway couplers they use in the kit should be an "off the shelf item" making future repairs a simple task.

By the time you pay a machine shop to build adaptor sleeves & purchase the couplers you'd probably have more into the mod. than what the manufacturer is charging.

I agree for all the pre 1969 tractors and the 5020.
On those you could remove the entire Deere breakaway couplers and instal' a pair of newer iso couplers using 2 bulkhead fittings and a custom made plate that attaches were the coupler was.

They have a lot of Merit,,doing away with all the leak points of the older set ups,, the extra length will not be an issue,,the price is near what a early ISO conversion is,,I think they are a good Idea..I see a few small changes That I would do to make them even better...The early ISO conversions have a lot of Faults, most of the SCV's that come in here for rebuilds need the conversions replaced..
