Wards Tractors

What yrs were the wards tractors made and how many models ? How much are they worth unrestored or restored ?

the few i am familiar with were made during or right after ww2

They were made in 46,47 and 48 by Custom Tractor in Shelby-ville In. The custom and wards were the same,using 4 speed transmission,with a fluid drive torque converter in front of it,and had a Timken rear end with drop axles to slow it down.They also made a Lehr Big Boy,Rochol,and a Simpson.They had a 5 speed Transmission,a chain drive gear reduction box between the trans and rear end to slow it down and a 1 1/2 truck rear end complete with hydraloic brakes. Engines ,trans, rear ends were Dodge
