Warning Tag

Cleaning out the under-hood tool box last night, I came across this tag. I seem to remember that it was originally on a chain, maybe used as a lock to keep the hydraulic handle down when using the _____. (forgot the name of them.. like stabilizer bars, but fix the drawbar vertical height.)

Wonder how many of these tags are still around?! ;-)

That?s the tag from the safety chain. They were attached to stop the lift arm from being used when the drawbar was to be locked in position.

We threw them away years ago. Seems it was always in the way.We row cropped and didn't use the draw bar a lot. Now I wish I had everything I threw away.

Selling as a complete genuine set , plate , chains and wedge for $300. Aus here . This has prompted a few shifty types to reproduce them in the back shed and pass them off as real ones .

I just handled the warning tag a few hours ago so figured I would try to post a few pics.
I was spreading fertilizer on hay fields and filbert orchards with to 30 with a 3 point spreader.
The spreader has SWAY braces to keep the machine stable side to side.
The machine also has STAY braces to keep the spreader at a constant height. The tag is chained to the stay braces to tie the hydraulic lever down so as not to run the pump unnecessarily.
