water in oil

1950 8n side mount 12v.
how do i stop water from entering oil??oil is milky but she continues to run.

Probably a blown head gasket.

I'd start with the cheap stuff first.

do a comp test and see if you see one or two adjacent cyls real low.

in any case, change oil, and change the head gasket.. remember to retorque the head gasket after warming her.

best case is a 20$ head gasket and 20$ oil and filter change. worst case is it does it again and you get to pressure test her and perhaps drop the pan and look for block problems..

ps.. change the oil asap.. coolant eats main and rod bearings FAST.. then you will have a scored crank..

tore down today.110 on the outside themometer about 3 pm.looking at cyl head on kitchen table.looking at tractor head it looks as if 2nd piston has water/oil mix on top of piston.hopefully it is only gasket broke down,can i order gasket from this site and how long will it take to get gasket delivered to roxboro,n.c.??thanks to all.it really is fun to work on these old girls and see what is inside.
