I have an 1952 8n. I replace the bad water pump and the blown head gasket. I change oil and filter two times and still have water in the oil.
I in need of some advise.
Thanks to all

I just rebuilt a to20 that kept getting water in oil, after several tear downs and head gaskets I finally took an air tool nipple and screwed into the water drain outlet with 10 to 15 lbs with it on an engine stand with crank and pistons out. The leaks were in the head under the valve springs, don't know if fords have overhead cam or not. You will have to connect the inlet to oulet water hose and if pressure builds too long that will burst!!

Yes I did re-torque the bolts after a very good warm up and I also had the head flatened while I had it off, its was off 15 thousand. I will do the pressure test.
THANKS

Don't know if this will help you, but my 172 had a crack in the block that allowed water to pass through between the sleeve and the block. I discovered antifreeze in the oil and in doing a pressure test on the block and found water/air escaping at the bottom of the sleeve. It was repaired and new sleeves etc installed.

Woke up in the middle of the night thinking "i hope i didn't say overhead cam". I meant overhead rocker. I don't know what a L head is, is it a flat head?
