Water/oil mix

Hi guys, working on a front mount 8n. Layer of oil in top of radiator. Removed head, #2 cylinder has signs of water (a white mix). Is this a head gasket problem or maybe a cracked sleeve? Have not seen a situation with oil in radiator before.
Thanks

"Oil" in the radiator is probably combustion by products from a bad head gasket.
Could be a cracked block or bad head, but I don't think a sleeve is likely.
These are dry sleeve engines. Any water/antifreeze in the oil?

water inthe oil is more problematic. there are no oil ports inthe head.

had it simply been an emulsified radiator.. I'd have leaned towards head gasket.

with emulsion in the oil.. that would at least make me lean toward block.

was it using water befroe you tore it down?

any freeze damage or cracks already / repairs to this block?

do you have a cooling system pressure tester?

if so.. you can pressurize it and look under engine with pan off and look for seepage..

As souNdguy said, that would lead me to believe there is a bigger problem.
Pressurizing will help show you how big and where.
Its not usually too hard to find a used block if you need one.
