water pump freezing

I got an engine that leaks water into the oil so I run water with no antifreeze in it and i drain the water after I pull. If the water leaks into the oil it wont hurt the bearings. But what could i put in the water so it dont freeze the water thats left in the water pump that doesnt get drained out

Alcohol would be the cheapest and I think the best.

Why not use some Blue Devil to stop it from leaking? It's guaranteed and it works.

Run transmission fluid in place of the coolant/water.

I'd try the Blue Devil and if that doesn't work, you better figure out why it's leaking.

I think you're right VicS, enough alcohol in my system makes me ok and I've never froze. Yet.
