I was wondering how your water pumps spun, is there any resistance to it? I took mine apart because the seal was leaking. I pressed in the new one, but notice that the nut that holds the bold for the hub on the shaft was rubbing on the housing of the pump as it spun, as well as the block where the bolt goes through was also rubbing on the housing a little bit. It was doing this before it was disassembled as well. It looks like someone may have taken it apart before. The bold that holds the hub to the shaft appears to be threaded on one side but not on the other, with no bold head. Not really sure how this comes out either. I tried to tap it old, but it will not come. Tried to put channel licks on it to turn it out, and it won't come out that way either. I may end up just replacing the whole thing.
