Water temp gauge

Where do you guys mount your water temp gauges

On what?? Hard for us to be able to answer your question with out knowing what you are putting it on

If replacing, I just put it back where the factory one was.

If you got a really old enough machine, that it don't have one, don't worry about adding one. It likely don't have a water pump and pressurized radiator cap neither,
and has a thermosiphon system with an oversized radiator. You don't need a gauge with those. They run a little on the hot side anyways, and they'll boil over and let you know if things get a little to warm.

Where the old one was if replacing.If on a new build or adding where there was not one anyplace that is handy and easily visible.

My bad a 140

The original location was on a little bracket on the governor housing. The 140 is a different part number than the earlier tractors. I'm pretty sure the earlier one is available as a repro.

It is illustrated in the parts catalog.
