I have an ingersoll rand air compressor that im guessing is early to mid 70"s vintage. I am pretty sure it has a waukesha engine in it, but im trying to figure out what model. it is a four cylinder overhead valve gasser. standing at the fan looking at the engine, the exhaust manifold and governor is on the right hand side, and the distributor on the left. the oil filler is right behind the distributor in the side of the block. it also has a funny thermostat housing which doubles as the fan hub. the water pump is right below that, and is driven by the back side of the belt. also looking for info on where parts could be obtained. (namely a Rear main seal). thanks to all in advance!

digger,

Look on the block and get the casting
numbers and I'll look in the casting # book.
Also send email me a picture of the engine.
I had one in the shop 2 years ago that took
a while to figure out what it was ,turned out
to be a hercules (D2000).
