this is my 1969 "WC" chisel plow we sold new with a 1470 in 1970, I was able to buy it back at a farm sale about 1988 other than some wheel brgs and new lift and wing cables it is still original and I use it to go over 500-1000 acres a year, one other thing that might be of interest is that I helped assemble this machine and also was running the 580 that unloaded it from the transport truck back in 69, I even got the original ops manual for it too, the 2670 in the pic is a early one a 1974 model that I took on trade for another 2670 I had a 79 model that I had been through from one end to the other, this one does need power shift work but other than that it is a very good running tractor, when I do the tranny I will give it a paint job and redecal it also, it is showing 6500 hrs on the tach, thought I would mix in a few implement storys with the tractor ones hope you enjoied it cnt

Never gets old Tom. Great pic's-n-stories ta-boot. keep it comming and before I know it it will be "fieldwork season" Thanks,God Bless

I have a 20 foot Case chisel that I pull with the 2470. Also have a couple 15 footers to use with 1030 or 1170. Bought a 45 foot Case field cultivator, and cut it down to 30 foot to go with 2470. Also have 2 Case chisel planters, and trying to buy a third.

Case Chisel Planter is set up with dry fert. and 38" spacing, so works to plant some corn to pick with mtd. Case picker or 960 or 660 combines. Other one has liquid pump and tanks and 30" spacing. The third one was set up with anhydrous tank, just like in 69 buyers guide. But the tank is missing on that one. Trying to stay ahead of scrapper on that one.
