WC Stamped Rearend

I have a stamped or welded rear end from a wc allis, with frame rails. I would like to know what its worth and if anyone is interested in it. Been told they are 90 to 100 pounds lighter than casted rear ends. call me 816-two5six-sixtyfivehundred.

i dont think they are worth any more than a regular WC rearend. i have heard people say they are lighter but i had a unstyled wc with the cast rarend and a styled with the pressed steel rearend and from what i could tell when we weighted it at the pull it was the same weight.

grnerally unstyled wcs are lighter than the styled so that could explain that.

i would say unstyled is heavier because radiator is heavier but without a starter and alternator ,battery etc. it all depends on what options you have on it . a steel rearend is about 40 pounds lighter than a cast one

They weigh the same and I bought just the rearend for $100 last year.
