WD 3 point help

I'm making a 3 point hitch for my WD and was wondering how wide people cut the angle piece mounted to the drawbar. Is it narrower than the 26" that most of the impliment is (narrow at front and gets wider)? Or run them straight back? Thanks

what ever, the pull must still originate at the "Snap-Coupler" or the traction Booster cannot work..

You should look at how this type is made..I cannot take any pics of mine, it is deep in the tool-shed..!

I can tell you that it is Wish-Bone shaped, with one side able to pivot to allow it to adjust to different widths..
There is a telescoping pipe across not too near the rear that is one pipe inside another, allowing the width to change..
The "Bail" is set to the highest position and sway-chains are connected from the Bail, to the 3-point..
This works very, very well...!

I used a 22" piece of angle iron for mine. No problems yet. No pics, though.
