WD hand clutch

I have not looked at this tractor too closely yet but the hand clutch lever is about as woobly as it can get. Does anyone know what or how the pin is held in the tractor or how to remove it. I was going to take off the lever and drill it out and put a bushing it it. And add a grease zerk if there is not already one on it that nobody ever shot any grease into.
How do you guys break down the rear tractor tires? Or do you bring them in to a shop?
Thanks for any help.

CRS says pin is a press fit. Bushing the handle is a good fix- helps even if the pin is worn. Rebush and zerk the brake and foot clutch as well. Tires are not too hard to handle- breaking the bead is usually the worst part. If fluid in tires, there are ways to handle that with simple equipment, even without a pump.

Press fit sounds a little difficult, could weld a rod to the pin and use a slide hammer but the frame is in the way.
How do you break the bead? Drive over the tire? Sledge and a wedge? There is no fluid.
There is some rust around the valve stem, I was thinking about cutting the area out and weld in a piece and drill a new valve stem hole.
Thanks

I break the tire loose with a carpenters crowbar and a #3 hammer. I actually use 2 crowbars. I drive the crowbar in between the rima nd the tire and pry down on it. then insert the second one upside down and drive it in against the rim. Now hammer on the 2nd crowbar to drive the tire down on the rim. once it moves a little, move the bar slightly to the right or left and pound some more. It will soon pop loose. This works on the most stubborn tires. Bob

Another few ways to break the bead...lay tire flat under something really heavy, hitch, frame, or? Use a hyd jack to press bead down. With wheel on tractor, push against it with a 4x4, using another tractor, etc. Need helper for that. Skidloader/loader available- press with bucket.
