WD Snap Coupler/Drawbar release

Does anyone know what the proper length of the chain that goes from the release lever down to drawbar? Mine is missing.

I'd get a chunk of chain that I knew was too long, attach it to either the top or bottom, figure out how long it needs to be and cut it to fit.
