Trying to find a new spindle for my wd not having any luck. Does anyone know where I could find one.

I do not know where you can get a new one but there are plenty of used ones that pop up in a google search.

You'll have to find a used one.

Using the part numbers may help in your search. The WD parts book shows part number 70237071 for the right-hand spindle and 70237072 for the left-hand spindle. The original numbers were just the last 6 digits of those numbers. Over the years the 0 was added to the front, then later the 7 was added, for example 237071, 0237071, and 70237071 would all be the same part.

Have you called PartsASAP, YT's parent company? In general calling, or using a parts request email, works better than just looking at used parts inventories online. Many places don't put a lot of their inventory online due to its changing nature.
