WD45 3 bolt wide front

I have a WD 45 with a 3 bolt wide front (probably was on a WD originally). One, maybe two of the three 5/8" bolts that hold the pivot plate are stripped. My question: Is there enough metal there to drill it out and tap for 3/4" bolts?
