WD45 Power Steering

Anyone know the first year you could get factory power steering on a WD45? I know it was available on the 1956 and 1997 but don't know if it was available before that.

Should be 1957 not 1997.

I have a 1955 that has what I think is factory power steering.

Everything I?ve read says 56-57 as original and
available as a kit for the dealer to install on older
machines. And then too, I?d think a few have been
swapped onto an older tractor form slavage
machine.

1956. Would fit on earlier models, even a WD.

I had a real late 1955 production WD45 [only a couple of hundred made after it] that had the factory power steering, was told by seller that the tractor had it from the factory.
