WD45 Zenith Carb Float Adjustment

Can someone please give me the adjustment height for the float on this carb? Where do you take the measurement? Thanks

1/4 inch with out the gasket on. That is from the flat part of the carb body to the lowest part of the float. As per a rebuild kit I have on the desk

I have done this. Turn the carb up side down and look at the float. It should be parralel to the top half of the carb. Same measure front to rear.

When I worked for an Allis Chalmers dealer we worked on all makes. We never measured float level on any updraft carburetor. We used the method you described.

As long as the float is intact, I have done what Jeffcat said on many different carbs (including Zenith) and never had a problem. Usually that is where the measurement will take you.
