wd9 engine

Being more or less ignorant on these engines, wondering how interchangable parts are between the d335 and d350. Found a good head and a 4.500 bore short block from a td9 for my wd9 with a bad head. Will it work?

They are the same engine except for the bore, and rear main seal. The head should work unless it was replaced for a late one with bigger injectors, and even then, as long as you have the right injectors to fit in the head, it will work. Make sure you have the head pressure checked before putting on!

The head is good in that respect, being redone now. Just need one 4.5 piston.
