weak 8N hydraulics..Fixed!

when using my King Kutter and scooping big loads of gravel my 8N was lifting real slow. so with the advice of the good folks on this site i pulled my side inspection cover and my PTO shaft and replaced my pressure relief valve, very simple.
went out about an hour ago and now she lifts like a champ.
i did have to remove the PTO shaft to access the valve...

More ways than one to skin an N thanks to Zane and Hobo it took me about 15 minutes to cahnge my relief valve that is why we share info. Glad it works for you.

it's a relief valve for the hydraulic pump.. it's in a location that you either have to bend a wrench / use a stubby.. or drop the pump.

as with any hyd setup, the relief valve vents pressure whent he hyd cy; reaches max travel and the pump control valve is still sending oil that way, among other things. also works for overload.. etc.

study the manual or exploded diagrams for more precise location information..
