Weather Crack Seals

Anyone ever tried Flex Seal on tires side walls. Since Miller Black Paint is not available till spring thought about this. Ads say it works Miracles!!! What does everyone think.

The advertisements say and show that it's pretty good at what it's supposed to do......why not use it????

I think I would try a sample first.
Just to make conversation, so you decide to use it and it works.....yea!!!! Suppose it doesn't? Put idea #2 on top of it If it won't come off....... if it does, remove it and go with plan B or C etc.

In one of the commercials the guy has a small boat made from nothing but this product and plexiglas brand plastic sheet. Then he hooks a small outboard on the transom, cranks it up and goes for a joy ride.....you know how slick plastic sheets are......if you clean the rubber on your tire good, before you install it, surely it won't have a problem clinging to old rubber which usually has a very rough surface....lots of nooks and crannies for the product to enter and grip. The only question then would be what's its tolerance for tolerating the friction and pressure from its intended use.
