Website change

Just offering you a suggestion to use a feature of the new software that may be helpful. If you “look them up” that has to take more effort then clicking a bell that brings up a list with what you are looking for with links directly to it. Explore new ways of doing things as opposed to complaining about how it does not do X or do Y like it did back when. I think your are or were a farmer, maybe you want to go back to 60 - 90 bpa corn.

I look them up.
This may be the way you look up the threads you posted in or maybe a new way........

To see all the threads you have posted in, go to your username above and click.
A drop down box will appear, then click on "Your Content".

If you like finding them via the Bell list, you will like the "Your Content" way a lot more, I would bet.

Not that it is make or break, but that way does not show you “reaction”
That is true.
But if you get a lot of reactions on your posts, you will get the same thread and post repeated many times in that alerts list which only shows 25 reactions.
The "Your Content" avenue will show you all of your posts if you page back far enough.
Which is just another alternative way to skin the cat.

Also if you click the number by “Messages” all your posts are shown. That is less steps for me using a phone. I have one thing on my wish list which I have requested the moderators to consider. This is to be able to search a member’s post but only return one post for any post you have content in. The old search system did that, I felt it was very handy.

Maybe this gets you close to what you are wanting. I tried the search with your user name and then mine. Results 13.
Then I inversed the search and results were 8.

Thanks for that! But that not where I was headed. In the old search when you “searched by author” there was an option to default “show posts” or show topics. Showing topics, returned only the titles or subject of discussion showing it only once no matter how many replies you made to the thread. Just less stuff to sort through when you were going back looking for what may have been added to a thread, that’s all. I occasionally used the option to select only one forum to search in, this software does not currently show that option either.

Have you looked at the search feature and clicked on "Everyware" ?
When in a thread you get more four choices.
When you are in a category you get three choices.
When you are in the categories page it automatically searches everywhere.
And if you go into the Advanced search you can narrow the search to a date range.
Mucking around with all those options might get you closer to your goal.
