Weeds in Hay

It has been so dry here in East Texas that the grass is poor, but some of the weeds seem to be flourishing.

Anyone have good recommendations to rid a hay field of green briar, night shade, and goat weed. The rest of it I have a handle on, but the goat weed and green briar is tough to kill.

The Grazon is ok as long as there are no legumes you are trying to save. 24d Ester works real well also and is cheap. The Dow Grazon and Milestone and Forefront can all work good and have season long residual but also if the hay is fed on any pastures with legumes the manure from fed animals will also contain the control for anything not grass and kill legumes in the pasture.

I am half way between Ben Wheeler and Van. We are a good 6.5 inches low on rain this year, and what did come fell early. .
