Weird Hydraulics dream

Just got up after having this weird hydraulics dream. I was trying to fix the hydraulics and trying different things. Then my wife shows up and tells me to try a couple things. While doing that, Barbara Stanwyck shows up and says here Nick Saban can fix it. Nick Saban says he knows what the problem is. About that time I thought it was getting kind of weird so I got at 4 am and here I am. Now I wish I would have slept long enough to find out what Saban's fix was. Guess I'll hang out till I get tired and go back to bed.

After my heart attack in July, the doctor put me on a beta blocker in addition to the ACE inhibitor I was already taking to keep my blood pressure down. I had heard that beta blockers can cause vivid dreams, and for me they sure did. Not only do I have weird dreams that I remember after waking up, they have a level of detail my dreams never had before. I think I'll cancel HBO and just go to bed early.

If Barbara Stanwyck is going to appear in my dreams, I want the Christmas in Connecticut version, not Big Valley Barbara. (Even though the latter version would be more age-appropriate for me!) Alas, it is said that Miss Stanwyck preferred the ladies.

I can't explain it. Watch MEtv some, Grit tv some, and they had 2 or 3 of her early movies on TCM a few weeks ago. Watched Alabama win the championship. That and the half a sleeping pill probably helped.

I think I may have figured out my hydraulics problem on the Ford 1500 today except after I put the rebuilt injectors in, it only ran for 5 seconds and quit. I had run the battery down so it was too low to restart. Think I may not have got the lines bled. Will try again tomorrow. Took the hydraulic filter off and it is a metal cleanable one that has a wire retainer that holds it in the can. I had the wire end sticking so that it may have contacted the base and came loose. I put the wire end so it sticks in the can.

Had another weird one this morning. Was down on the border, Rio Grande. Government had water and fuel restrictions in place. A gal from the government was making me put these 6" friction pads on the throttles of tractors and on the water valves to slow their use. She went up on the roof and I asked why. She said not to come up there but I did anyway. Looked across the Rio Grande and a group of their citizens were on a roof behind a chimney spotting for some others stealing water from the Rio Grande. Then John Wayne showed up on my roof and got rid of the guys on the other roof across the Rio. Then I woke up.
