Today was a bit much , I was up before six for qa run to the little shack out back and was no sense tryen to get in and hour more . So war Dept and i had breakfast , did the morning things and left the house a little after 9 . Stopped and filled the tank and were off allowing some extra travel time for any idiots that might screw up the trip and of course we found one and had to live with him for 50 some miles . Made it there with a half hour to spare and signed in and in ten min. we were on the move first and EKG , then X Ray then Blood work . Then up to the Forth floor and sat there for maybe five min and was called back and spent about and hour and a half . And out the door we went . War Dept needed to eat so we did a Linner ( lunch and dinner all in one at the Cracker Barrel ) . Then on back home with a stop at the drug store to pick up to scrips . By the time we got back to the house i was done for my leg was screaming at me my donkey was sore from the seat and just getting out of the car brought on more pain both in the leg and chest , Then i went to stand and when i put weight on my right leg the real pain hit . That pain was gut wrenchen pain was not sure if i was going to keep linner down or not . this was the most extream pain i have felt in my life ten times worse then getting shot in nam . This was stars and blackness style , managed to get in the house to the bath room and to my chair get my tennies off and layed down and passed out for and hour and a half only to wake up and have to got to the bath room once again only to have the pain come back full bore with each step .

With all you have been through that sounds an awful lot like passing kidney stones. I sure hope not. If you have red urine it probably is so Get better.

Thanks for the update, you painted a pretty clear picture, You should be a writer-oops I forgot you are one. Keep a stiff upper lip, and keep updating us.

Tractor Vet, what do the doctors say about your leg pain? My leg hurt a little bit after my bypass, but nothing like yours is hurting you.

I hope you're not like both of my parents used to be before they passed away. They'd complain about how bad they felt, but when I'd take them to the doctor and he'd ask how they were doing, they'd both say "Oh, pretty good". That used to drive me crazy!

Doctors aren't mind readers, you have to tell them what's really going on before they can help you.

That's what I heard, but I was lucky enough to not have to sneeze until about 4 weeks after my bypass.

When it happened, I was very, very glad it wasn't any sooner than that. :-)

Something doesn't sound right. I hope you told your doctor about the intense pain. If there's infection it should show in the lab results. Get feedback from your doc.

Good Luck Vet - Hang In there !
