Were making hay now

Finally I have some help around here. Today is her birthday and we celebrated by letting her rake some hay while I baled. She did well for her first time driving a tractor.

Ah yes. I remember when mine were young enough to fall for "letting" them work.

She's having a ball. That's the biggest machine on earth in her world, and she can handle it. When I was a kid, I thought a 'B' was big. And now it's my playtoy. She'll grow up all too fast. Enjoy the help while you've got it. And learn how to get her boyfriends interested in farming---

I remember sitting on my grandma's lap discing the grape rows (about 5-6yrs old) on their old TO-35. They moved off the farm, my parents had it for years, they upgraded and now I am back on it. Great feeling and glad I was stuck on it.
