what carb. kit to get??

I see on my carb after cleaning the exterior, its a marvel and a brass tag that kinda says tx 51? Now this site has two kits for the tractor I think, but one is a few buck more or less. You know I'll probably get the wrong one whatever I order. What gives? Why 2 kits?. trg

Well depending on what tractor you have it should be a TSX33 if its a 9N or a TSX241A, B, or C. If its a 2N or 8N. But the same kit fits all 4 of those carbs and if you have a good auto parts store local to you they should have or be able to get you the kit you need.

WY a little more information would help, tractor model, year, carb make & model or what can you tell us. For all we know you could be working an a Deere.

Oops, its a 8n sidemount. I don't know what the sn is as seems the pitting of that area is pretty well not that I haven't tried, just haven't sanded it down yet. But block seems to kinda ate away abit in the sn area. thanks
