I just step around the spill or over it until it's gone. Not really, I have a 5 gal pail of something like kitty letter my brother had in the shop. I

I use floor dry from Rural King,about $6 for 50 lb bag,,I use so much that the guy at the store asked me if I was feeding it...These old gals bleed all over the place when you crack them open..and I split 3 or 4 a week here..

Don't make a mess if one may happen plan to catch it.
If an accident happens stop and wipe it up. I use old rags I save my paper towels that I dry off my hands with. I keep a roll of pig mat but its rare i need it. A bad of oil dry will last me years its for a large spill and for the most part banded in my shop. There is no reason to work around it on top of it are play in it.

I wipe up any mess pour some varsol on it and mop with plain water. You have to train yourself to work clean and take pride in it.
Are you can be sloppy and work knee deep in speedy dry.

If you feel the need to work in oily mess than that's your call if you were to work for me I would run your sloppy arse off.

use the ashes from the stove use an old broom to stir the ashes till the floor is clean works for me

Oil-Dry, cheaper than kitty litter. I had some friends of my daughter use my shop and they cleaned the floor by grinding the Oil-Dry into the floor with a cement block and then sweeping it up.

I used dry clay from the dirt floor in the other shed and sweep it back and forth a few times then dispose of it in the tree burn pit and then spread cement dust or premix concrete dust to absorb any leftover stain.

Yep just plain clay cat litter.

Oil Dry granulated clay. Still about $5.00 at Farm and Fleet for 50 pound bag. Also use it on my sloped concrete driveway when it gets icy. Provides grit to get up the drive. Drive faces south so any sun will get it wet, darker, working faster. Dont have to worry about pitting the concrete or damaging the lawn and shrubs.
