There is an Intercourse, PA! Was apparently where “Smoker” elevators were built. Intercourse does have other meanings apparently.

I agree, was this photo out of you own stash meaning this was a photo of some family member? We had a ‘67 with the “topper” style back. Trust me it was far from the fancy chrome wheel type in your photo. That little four banger pulled a lot of hay wagon loads home, often 2 or 3 at a time. Also pulled the Hesston 420 swather around to quite a few custom hay cutting jobs. Built a lot of temporary fence around stalk fields out of the back of it. And basically used for everything else a pickup would do.

I think that might be a Scout Terra pickup. I considered buying one years ago but they were a bit expensive. I wish I had, now.

My apologies to all for the confusion. The pic is from the Wisconsin State Historical Archives. I was a weeeee bit tired after snowblowing all yesterday afternoon & my brain wasn't functioning enough to think to add the proper credit.

The descriptions there (WHS) are still rather lackluster & I do wish they'd get someone in to label all that stuff, that knows what he/she/it/whatever is looking at.

This marketing image used in various brochures and marketing publications for the 1976 model year, shows a 1976 model year Terra (118 inch wheelbase) in the Buckskin color hitching up to a fertilizer spreader. It's a 4x4 Terra with Deluxe external trim and has the Rallye wheels/radial tire options. It's a very early production unit, or a prototype, because it has a smooth finish, body color cab top versus the texture finish cab top that would appear in white or brown and be standard production."

That would be a IH model 21-A that's galvanized, built 1963 to 1968. I have a model 21 that is red and it was built between
1958 to 1963. A model 21-A is set up at the HCOP every year to fill one of the corn cribs. Here are pics from a brochure I have
in my paper collection.
