I still see it and use it almost every time.
Was there not a post delete button early on ??
Maybe hallucinating?
What shows is dependent on the size of the window you are viewing in. When you grab the side of the window and make it larger, the preview button appears. When grab the side and squish the windows, the Preview button is replaced with an icon (which someone mentioned is a magnifying glass, but I couldn't tell what it was as is often the case with myself and icons). So it's still there, just minimized and harder to tell what it is.The preview button seems to have gone poof. Is this just me?

Some other things completely disappear when you squish your screen down. The menu does this if there is not enough room horizontally to display the entire line.
As a proud owner of a flip phone, I still can't grasp how a web page can be viewed on a 3" screen???I will check but thats likely it - damn phone....
It takes a lot of device specific rendering by the browser. Google on Android offers you two choices - desktop view or mobile device view and they are quite different. As a proud owner of a flip phone, I still can't grasp how a web page can be viewed on a 3" screen???
I found the icon on the toolbar. Would never have recognized it on the phone but it was labeled on my desktop. What shows is dependent on the size of the window you are viewing in. That is why all web pages have to drop content if they sense the person is viewing on a phone. The problem goes beyond just having to deal with the visual aspect of seeing a small screen, it also makes using a site's features difficult to access (or simply not there). So buttons and links disappear if you are on a small screen. The phone has to, by nature, eliminate functionality in deference to the device being used. More and more pages are designed with the phone in mind, meaning they are dumbed down. Sites that put in the effort have a smarter version for the desktop and a dumber version for the phone. There are also very useful functions that are starting to disappear from desktops because of this problem. Hover is a good example, it used to be that you'd hover over an icon and it would always show what the icon is for. Since phones don't have a hover capability, this is supported less and less even on desktops. As a proud owner of a flip phone, I still can't grasp how a web page can be viewed on a 3" screen???
On our old software, the preview was down below the post. On here, the Preview is always the button/link in the upper right corner of the posting window.I found the icon on the toolbar. Would never have recognized it on the phone but it was labeled on my desktop.
ISTR it was previously a button down at the bottom or am I getting confused with a different site???
Dan
It's also not a 3" screen. Smartphones generally have 4x the screen space of a flip phone. As a proud owner of a flip phone, I still can't grasp how a web page can be viewed on a 3" screen???
