My guess is exposing Yesterday's Tractor forum to Facebook helped increase view count.

I noticed it too today; I don't usually look at views. Bots are scrubbing the site for sure.

I will look into this, however you may be under estimating how popular Yesterday's Tractors is. Between the forum and our website, we get over 1,000,000 visits every month!
And since I have been hired on, I have generated another 3,000,000 social media views, which is bringing traffic to this site as well.

I am looking into the analytics for the threads here and comparing them to other tools we use to track traffic.. I will need to bring in Justin and his technical knowledge in for this.
So for now the answer is: Yes the forum receives a ton of traffic. However the view counters may not be 100% accurate, so don't go calling yourself internet famous and start selling your autographs yet.

Ok, I'll guess too.
My guess is that a setting was changed in the forum or server software that affected the counting of individual visits. I'll further guess that no research was needed for the software folks to say this, but apparently the info stopped there.
