If you intended to post a picture, it did not come through.

Simply put, it's yellow because someone painted it yellow. I do not say that to be demean or belittle, I say it as a simple fact. It could be yellow for any number of reasons.

IH did make an "INTERNATIONAL" A Industrial, which was nearly identical to the Farmall save for a couple of features. One being a square tube heavy duty front axle, the second being a foot throttle. I suspect this is what you are asking about when you say, "What front axle is on this tractor...?"

Wow, that is different than any A front axle I've ever seen.
A pic of the entire tractor would be nice. The serial number tag should be on the left seat bracket or between the brake pedels. If no tag then look below #1 spark plugs for the serial number. That will tell us more about what you have, but won't help with front axle ID though.

You have a 'frankentractor'.Someone grafted a utility style axle to it.Homemade, one of a kind. The yellow is a repaint,it didn't leave the factory like that
You have a mongrel.

Farmall C tractors are practically non-existent in Australia, so I may be completely wrong, but those front wheels look very similar to Massey Ferguson fronts.

There was a guy who use to post here, mostly on the pulling forum, who had one that looked very, very similar to that one. I dont
recall his name, or handle.
