What is it?

Hey guys, thanks in advance for any replies. I've got a bracket on my John Deere R that I recently acquired and I don't know what it's for and I can't find it in the parts catalog. It's just a piece of flat iron with an offset in it and it has a vertical shaft with threads on the top end welded to it. It's bolted where the remote cylinder hanger would normally go.

(quoted from post at 01:20:39 11/05/23) Try a photo in closer and maybe that will help others help you.

You're right, unfortunately the tractor and I don't live together so I can get a better pic next time I'm close to it if it's still necessary. It's not something that keeps me awake at night but I exhausted my resources and thought I'd reach out to the community in hopes they would know, even if they had to zoom in on the pic.

A zoomed in pic, fuzzy though.
