another "what is it" finding things around the farm (wife's grandparents/family since 1890)

these look new ie no wear on them. they were in a drawer with a few of the chunks and sprockets for the flat type "detachable" chain.

i presume from a piece of old machinery or for something inside the dairy barn?? there were a hand full of them.

it is about 2" inches wide on the widest side. rake tooth holder does make sense.
don't remember what grandpa had. the last rake he had was I think an international/mccormick #5??? If i recall it was pretty much worn out. I suspect they had some other rakes prior to that including some dump rakes. looking at pictures the #5 had different stamped type teeth holders but similar idea.

I'll have to look thru that drawer and see what else might be in there.
