My brother left ma a lot of stuff. He has been gone over three years now. Going through a cabinet were these chemicals: 4 Gallans of Zectran 2E Insecticide. The other is a power, 2 five pound bags. It's Dupont Benlate. He raised cattle, so it may be connected with that. Any ideas what to do with it. Thanks Stan

Given you are in California you would be best served by researching them with your state regulatory agency. They might be open use by anyone, restricted to licensed applicators, or outright banned. Many states have collection day when people can turn in "found", out of date, banned, or otherwise unwanted chemicals. The bit of searching I did it looks like they could be problems. It looks like Zectran 2E could be restricted use and Dupont Benlate has been withdrawn from the market by Dupont due to concerns and no longer commercially available. Good luck

Up date. I googled both products. Both have to do with plants. Years ago he worked for a flower grower. The grower found he could make more money if he sold the land. When they closed my brother for what ever reason, grabbed these two items. The stuff muse be real old. That was almost 50 years ago. Stan
