Just an observation I have and an opinion on this tractor, I may be wrong in my assessment. If this is a 52 DC-4, it is vastly different than mine. The PTO lever is up at the front on this tractor while mine is located under the seat. There's also only one single hydraulic lever which could indicate this had a mechanical lift and not an eagle hitch. It sure has undergone some radical customization, so hopefully whomever buys this will return it to its original glory and work clothes.

Looking at seat bracket Id say it is just a regular D but missing the big curved fenders

1949ish model D? I think 49 was the first year for hydraulics on this series, but could be a parts mash up too.

Judging by operator platform, I would say this is a DO missing the orchard metal with a regular D hood.

Sure looks like a tractor maybe built from pieces, the PTO lever indicates it is a live PTO but it has the hand clutch.
