Hi
Wonder if anyone knows what this was used on and anyway to adapt for use today.
Thanks

I'll bet that it was an accessory for a lawn and garden tractor. it would have mounted on a hitch that was common on the tractor, so that it lined up with the tractor's belt pulley that would have normally powered the mower deck. This would have given the homeowner AC wherever he could take his tractor. It could also have gone with the IHC cubs.

It's a generator that mounted on the front of a garden tractor.
Not sure what model or brand of tractor yours was for. Sears sold them for their tractors.

Hello,

It looks like a standard mount to me. It also looks like a 30 amp output by the 2 120 v outlets.
Measure the spacing to be sure. Looks like is portable, but you can mounted any way that will fit. Anyway you can get it to run and see if it is any good?

Guido.

I would say a generator for a garden tractor, it's the color of Simplicity and early Allis Chalmers. But all the ones that I have worked with have a rear hook up for belt and on the left side.

That 120 volt receptacle is a 15 amp rated.

It appears to be a pincor brand dont quote me on it that was sold with a lawn and garden tractor the mount can be switched to any color of your choice
