What is This?

Can some one out there in tractor land identify this? The tractor is a 1949 8N. Is this something that could operate an additional piece of equipment? The hydrauic hose is connected at the bottom of the case and come up through a valve and then through the pipe with connectors on it as you can see. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all of the help.
P.S. I wish this board had spell check....

That is a connection to the test port on the tractor's internal pump - such connections are used to power external hydraulic cylinders. See this current thread for more info:

Thanks for the info, I will not need it so I am going to remove it. If anyone out there wants it I will send it to them. Thanks again.

Arle......don't remove it until you have the "correct" ORB screw to plug yer hydraulic corner test port. O-Ring Base p/n: 355650-S, 1/2-20x.50 hex head bolt ...and... copper washer p/n: 9N-614.

BTW, to use the weaksister hydraulic pump for external slave cylinders, you haffta CHAIN down yer lift arms to make the plumbing "by-pass" the internal lift cylinder and out the test port ......Dell
