WHAT MODEL FORD SERIAL 82784

I BOUGHT THIS TRACTOR IN PARTS AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS TRACTOR WAS A NAA. BUT WHEN I PICKED IT UP THE REAR HOUSING TRUMPETS WERE MUCH LARGER THEN ANY NAA OR 600 I VE SEEN. I WAS THINKING IT MAY HAVE BEEN 800 SERIES. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS. THE SERIAL NUMBERS ON THE TRANNY ARE 82784. ALSO IS THIS A 134 OR 172 CUBIC INCH MOTOR?

The 800/801 series and industrials did use a heavier rear end. There should be another line of numbers near the serial number, which would be the model number - 3 digits, with a possable - and a 4th digit. The 134 and 172 can be swapped back and forth, so about the only way to be sure (without pulling the head) is to find some of the casting numbers on the side of the block. I can't tell you which is which, but some here can. Should start with EAF, I believe.

First- turn off the caps lock.
Next- there were several Ford tractors with a Serial Number 82784. Is there another number stamped directly above the serial number? If so, that number will be the Model.
