What models will a MF35 loader interchange with?

I have a MF35. I like it a lot and the loader works but it is heavy without power steering.

I'm looking at getting something bigger and swapping the loader over.

I assume it will bolt to a 135. Given that the 150s are similar, it should fit that too, right?

There is a 3 cyl gas 135 and a 4 cyl gas 150 local to me right now. The 135 doesn't seem too hard to find in whatever type I want.

Is there one configuration that is ideal to a loader? I've got 10 acres, I'm not a farmer. It is all loader/tree work generally.

It should swap over, might take some modifications.

A few questions.

Do you know the brand and model of the loader? It is not a MF 35 loader, it is a loader on a MF 35. If you don't know, post some pictures and we might be able to ID it.

Does it have a hydraulic pump for the loader mounted below the radiator driven by a shaft from the engine crankshaft pulley? Or is it plumbed into the tractor's internal hydraulics.

A four-wheel drive tractor will be good if you go that way. If I wanted a loader to do some clearing as you describe I would be looking for an industrial model like the MF 20, 30, 40 series, JD 301, 401 series, Case 480, 580. Those can be found with 3-point hitch and PTO. The front axles are heavier and designed for loader work as compared to farm loaders.

A tractor or skid steer with a bucket is not the best for removing stumps having any size, a backhoe or excavator has the advantage there.

The 150 has a completely different front axle and bolster than the 35. That could present problems mounting the loader frame at the front of the tractor.

It is a Canadian made loader KFL 65. It says Long on both sides but the metal plate says Kuchyt Metal Works KFL 65 which apparently is a company that disappeared. It has a 1500lb lift at dump height(from the picture of the brochure I found).

The tractor runs it, I don't have a auxiliary pump or anything. I rerouted it from the poorly done through the fill hole into the proper spot in the back when I redid the hydraulic pump.

It looks like it would go on a 135 or 150. I am guessing the channel iron under the frame uprights mounts to the four inspection plate bolts under the clutch housing, and the rear frame arms clamp to the axle housing.

That is a light loader. I still suggest looking for an industrial loader tractor or tractor loader backhoe and sell it when you are done.

I'm looking for a permanent tractor with FEL. I'm trying not to spend $10k on a tractor. If I get something other than one that loader fits on then I'll sell the MF35 because I don't need 2 tractors with front end loaders. Not so much clearing forests or anything, just general work.

One of the industrial models with a PTO and three-point would serve you well. Keep watch and you should find one for less than 10K.

Your thread "A little Advice" seemed to lean towards you planned on doing some clearing with it, to me, and I would say several others.

Initially that was a consideration but you guys convinced me to hire the clearing out for the barn. I might need to do some in the future but it would be more brush and small pines than big trees. I'm not sure I even need the pto to be honest. I use the bucket for the driveway mostly
