what power steering fluid?

What power steering fluid should I use on a '63 or '64 ford 2000?

I use the Traveller brand Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid from Tractor Supply in my 4 tractors, works real good. You can also go to Walmart and get their Supertech brand as well, I used it for many years too...

TF fluid, hyd oil, power steering fluid, transmission fluid. depending on climate you could even get away with a 10-30 weight oil if it was all you had.

not a very picky system... excessively worn systems will obviously perform worse with thinner oils.

I have an 841 that has power steering on it. I tried the hyd fluids but it did not seem to like it because the power steering did not work well with hyd fluid so I switched to ATF and have never looked back.

Change the filter in the reservoir.
