I was typing a response to a post, nothing controversial, just conversational, telling about a time my wife bought a GMC Blazer.

In the middle of it, I was flipped all the way back to my wallpaper.

What gives?

No reason for it at this end Goose, no posts or replies have been removed. Sounds like you are saying your entire browser closed down? You can write to Chris in the Site Comments forum, he might be able to help you figure it out.

Unless you have a virus or worm in the system, I would guess your computer just took a cosmic ray in the ram. It happens, I teach using 40 computers (good ones) and I get students telling this tail a lot. It is possible but unlikely that external forces could perpetrate that mayhem on the browser. JimN

sometimes my fingers do something that my brain didn't tell them to do.......

I've had that happen too. In the middle of something & all of a sudden looking at wallpaper. Happens once every couple months

I have done it before. If you are trying to type in the dark, or get sloppy with your fingers and punch the wrong button (both of which I do) it can/will reset you.

Problem is, I have never been able to figure out which key I hit to reset it.
