What to do with it?

What would you do? I am torn with what to do with this tractor. I have owned it for many years and it runs descent but it has seen better days. I am also sentimental and have great memories with this work horse. I hate to see it end up in the junk pile some day. Is this something somebody would want to clean up and give it a new life or should I run it until it dies? Thanks for any input you may have!

Well, you're not going to find that quality in contemporary equipment.

And with it being a 1010, I use the word quality* lightly.

*They were initially a problematic tractor. Should be ok if it's had all the bugs ironed out.

I would keep it if it means that much to you and I have tractors I really like to but a wise man once told me "Don't love anything that can't love you back". It looks to be in god condition, don't know what it has for problems, be interesting to hear what work it needs.

"Don't love anything that can't love you back" Words of wisdom for sure and a good reminder. That is just what I needed.

I think the compromise is finding it a new home. Thanks guys! My wife suggested I take a picture of it and smear some grease on the corner 🤣🤣.

I would sell it to the first person willing to pay more than scrap if I wanted to part with it. Give a young guy the opportunity to own his first tractor if you can.
