What tools did you get?

The 3.5 rocket launcher I've always wanted.

Just kidding. Actually got a 16 speed floor model drill press to replace an underpowered bench mount I've been using.

The Wife got me a Craftsman 12 volt multi-tool. Like a lot of things, I didn't think I needed it but after having it I may wonder how I did without it.

Got a kd tools beam torque wrench, and a gear wrench click torque wrench,, both made in USA. just wish I had it in October when I put the gear box back in my haybine.. But I'll have other uses for them. J

Hello Dick2,
Here is mine,
Guido.

My sons are always getting me odd ball tools. Today I got a 1/4" drive swivel head ratchet. Another son got me a ratchet with 3/8 drive on one side, 1/4 on the other side, and an adjustable wrench on the other end.

In the past they got me a pair of pliers that are cutters on one side, swing the handles to have pliers on the other. Another tool was a multi tool but instead of a knife it is a hammer.

My wife just got me a Dramel oscillating tool.

You have it wrong. It"s not what you get but what you give.I needed a jack so one of my sons got a jack.I was also in need of jack stands,so another son received jack stands. Both boy"s live at home so the tools will end up in my shop.Off coarse it all came from Santa.

18 volt DeWalt cordless impact- the big 1/2 drive one. Three other guys I work with have one and wouldn't be without it. I also have the DeWalt cordless drill, sawzall, and circular saw so I should always have a charged battery.

I put a foot switch on my floor mount drill press. Very pleased with it.

bench grinder for the shop and a meat grinder for the kitchen. lol. Merry Christmas

Hello,
I had to be good all year!
Don't you think that it was easy!
Guido.

This was a complete shock to me! I think there was even a little tear in my eye when I opened it. My wife knew I wanted a welder and have for awhile but I never thought she would get me one for Christmas! She and her parents teamed up on it.

And, without even knowing it she bought the exact one I had my eye on.
Now the stupid welding related questions are gonna start............I'll have the plug wired up tomorrow as I have another day off......WOO HOO!!

I thought about a cart with wheels to put the welder on but I figured if I did a bad job I'd see it every time I went to use the welder so...........I think it will be some new chains to support the boom of my backhoe. I'll start small.
Oh, and probably a lot of test welds on scrap material!

Oh, and I have a stool that I use around the shop that has a broken leg, that's up high on the list too.
