What Type Plow is This

Today I helped a friend pull this plow out of his hedgerow. He just bought the property and has no use for this implement, Can anyone tell me what it is used for and if it is worth anything?

It's a 3 point hitch, 2 furrow disc plow.

Brown Dirt Cowboy has named it. They pull pretty easy but do not make a flat bottomed turnover of the soil. Some soils (wirk well with them. Jim

From what I understand, they work well in rocky soils as the disks roll over the rocks vs getting hung up.
